Terms of Service

Version 1 · published 23 Sept 2026

These terms apply to every use of aday-air.com and its API, apps and browser extension (together "the platform"), operated by aday-air.com ApS, CVR 45984923, Visionsvej 51, st., 9000 Aalborg, Denmark ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you accept them. If you use the platform on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may bind that company.

1. The service

The platform is a registry, marketplace and management tool for general aviation: aircraft data, aircraft and equipment for sale and for rent, pilots and technicians, parts, fleet management (claims, permissions, documents, due items, POH and type data), learning material and business tools such as invoicing and bookkeeping.

We are a technology platform, not a party to the deals made through it. A sale, rental, service or employment agreed between users is a contract between those users. We do not own, inspect, insure or deliver the aircraft, parts or services listed, and we do not act as broker, agent or escrow unless a separate written agreement says so.

Registry and type data (registrations, serial numbers, models, specifications, accident records, ADS-B positions and similar) is collected from public sources and from users. It is provided as-is for information; it is not an airworthiness, ownership or legal record. Always verify against the official register, the aircraft's documents and the approved flight manual before you rely on it.

2. Accounts and companies

  • You must be at least 18 and give correct, current information. One account per person; an account belongs to a company ("tenant") with one or more users and roles.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your login. Keep your password private, use a strong passphrase and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
  • The tenant's Owner and Admin users decide who joins the tenant, who may approve claims, and what other companies may see; they act for the tenant.
  • We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that break these terms, that we cannot verify, or that put other users, the data or the platform at risk.

3. Aircraft claims, connections and permissions

A user connects to an aircraft by filing a claim: owner, co-owner, operator, leasee, maintenance provider, commission to sell / rent, instructor, student pilot or tracking. Owner and co-owner claims are verified with documents (registration certificate, bill of sale, lease). Once an aircraft has a verified owner, that owner approves or rejects every other claim, may change its type, may give it an end date and may end it at any time. A student pilot or instructor connection is therefore always under the owner's control.

  • You may only claim an aircraft you genuinely own, operate or are connected to. False claims and forged documents lead to immediate closure and may be reported.
  • Permissions decide which tables (documents, engines, dues, media …) a connected company may read, write or delete. The owner sets them; we apply them.
  • We may verify, downgrade or remove claims ourselves when the official register, documents or another verified owner show that a claim is wrong.

4. Listings and content you publish

  • You keep the rights to what you upload (photos, videos, documents, texts, logbook data). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display and distribute it on the platform and in our channels (search, feeds, emails, social previews) for as long as it is on the platform, and to keep backups afterwards.
  • You confirm that you may publish it: you own the photos or have permission, the listing describes the item correctly, the price and status are current, and nothing infringes other people's rights or the law.
  • Listings we import from other marketplaces are shown with a link to and the name of the source and the seller found there. They carry no claim of ownership; the real owner can take them over with "Are you the owner?". Ask us to remove an imported listing that concerns you and we will.
  • We may edit, hide or delete content that is wrong, outdated, unlawful, offensive, spam, or that infringes rights, and we may ask for proof before a listing goes live.
  • Do not scrape, copy or resell the registry, listings or media without our written permission. Reasonable personal use and links are welcome.

5. Sales, rentals, bookings and services between users

Sale contracts, rental agreements, bookings and service jobs are made between the users involved. We provide templates, messaging, signing and settlement tools to help, but the parties decide the price, the conditions, the airworthiness checks, the insurance and the delivery.

  • Check the aircraft, its documents and its insurance yourself before you buy, rent or fly. A rental contract on the platform states who is insured and how hours are settled; read it before you sign.
  • Commission listings (sell / rent on behalf of an owner) require the owner's approval of the claim. The commission itself is agreed between the owner and the seller.
  • Money you pay to another user (purchase price, rent, deposits, service fees) goes to that user, not to us, unless a checkout on the platform clearly says otherwise.
  • Disputes between users are settled between them. We may share the information we hold about a deal with the parties, and we may suspend a listing or an account while a serious dispute is open.

6. Fees, subscriptions and payment

  • Searching the registry and creating an account is free. Paid features (plans, listing upgrades, business tools) are priced on the platform before you buy; prices are shown with or without VAT as stated, and VAT is added where the law requires it.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Invoices are issued to the tenant's billing email and are available in the account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current period; already invoiced periods are not refunded, except where consumer law says otherwise.
  • If a payment fails we may remind you, restrict paid features and, after notice, close the tenant's paid features. Your data stays available for export for a reasonable time afterwards.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the account; the change applies from the next renewal.

7. AI-assisted features

Some features use AI models (for example extracting data from a listing or a document, drafting a sale text, classifying a receipt, answering questions about a flight manual, or explaining theory). The output is a suggestion. You are responsible for checking it before you rely on it or publish it. AI output is never a substitute for the official register, the approved flight manual, a licensed mechanic, an accountant or a lawyer. Content you send to an AI feature is processed by our AI providers under their business terms; see the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law, infringe rights, or publish false, misleading or offensive content;
  • access data or aircraft you are not connected to, or try to get around permissions, rate limits or security;
  • upload malware, run automated scraping, or overload the platform, the API or the browser extension;
  • use the platform to send unsolicited marketing, or contact users for purposes unrelated to their listing or request;
  • share your account, or use another person's account or company without authority.

9. Intellectual property

The platform, its software, design, texts, learning material, illustrations, 3D models and compiled data are ours or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and database rights. Manufacturer manuals, type data and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown for identification. You get a personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the platform under these terms — nothing more.

10. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not promise that the platform is always error-free or online; we do maintenance, and third-party sources or services can be down. We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature you may cancel from the next renewal. We may end the service as a whole with at least three months' notice and will keep your data available for export until then.

11. Liability

  • The platform and its data are provided "as is". We are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of registry, type, due, position, price or AI data, nor for the conduct, content, aircraft, parts or services of other users.
  • We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost data that you could have exported, or loss caused by third-party services, outages or force majeure.
  • For business users our total liability for any claim in a 12-month period is limited to the fees that tenant paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law (for example for gross negligence or intent), and nothing limits the mandatory rights of consumers.
  • You indemnify us against claims from third parties that arise from content you publish or from your breach of these terms.

12. Termination and data export

You can close your account at any time from the account settings or by writing to us. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, and at once if you seriously breach these terms. On closure your listings are unpublished, your claims are released and your personal data is deleted or anonymised according to the Privacy Policy; bookkeeping records are kept for as long as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires. Before closure you can export your data.

13. Governing law and disputes

Danish law applies. Disputes are brought before the Court of Aalborg (Retten i Aalborg), unless mandatory rules give a consumer the right to sue at their home court. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, and Danish consumers may complain to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the account at least 30 days before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept them. The current version and its date are always on this page.
